The Director of Commercial Leasing provides strategic leadership for Leyad’s commercial leasing activities. You will oversee occupancy, rental rates, renewals, tenant retention, and leasing performance. The position also guides complex transactions, relationships, and collaboration across Property Management, Investments, Marketing, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop leasing strategies aligned with portfolio and property objectives Oversee occupancy, renewals, rental rates, and tenant retention Lead major negotiations, expansions, restructurings,



and recent transactions Mentor leasing professionals and support development and best practices Prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations for senior leadership

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field 8+ years of progressive commercial real estate leasing experience Experience leading, managing, or mentoring leasing teams Knowledge of commercial lease structures, negotiations, and market conditions Financial, analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills Bring strategic leadership, commercial leasing expertise, and negotiation strength to Leyad’s growing Canadian property portfolio.
