Lead health, safety, and environmental programs at Champion Petfoods’ state-of-the-art facility in Acheson, Alberta, with manufacturing safety leadership experience. As Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager, you will work with production and management to embed a solid safety culture. You will coach employees, provide day-to-day guidance, and support compliance across Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Environment. This role supports Champion Petfoods and its ORIJEN® and ACANA® brands.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Food Safety, and Environment practices Lead the Occupational Joint Health, Safety,



and Environment Committee Develop safety training materials and deliver employee training Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Monitor safety programs, documentation, and Workers’ Compensation processes

Requirements:

Occupational Health and Safety certificate or diploma preferred CRST or CRSP designation preferred Five-plus years leading safety in manufacturing Experience interpreting and implementing safety regulations and standards Strong communication, negotiation, coaching, and analytical skills Apply your safety leadership, training expertise, and environmental knowledge to strengthen Champion Petfoods’ Acheson facility.
