This Senior Engineer position supports nuclear facilities across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept development through commissioning and closeout. Responsibilities include calculations, specifications, design evaluations, procurement support, and technical coordination. The successful candidate communicates clearly with clients, suppliers, project teams, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead system, structure, and component design activities Perform technical assessments, calculations,
and design verification Support engineering changes through applicable control processes Prepare procurement documents and evaluate technical bids Support testing, installation, commissioning, and field activities
Requirements:
Applicable engineering degree from an accredited university Canadian Skilled Engineer registration or eligibility Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience Experience delivering nuclear facility modifications through lifecycle stages Ability to review complex deliverables and oversee verification Bring nuclear lifecycle experience, design verification skills, and technical judgment to AtkinsRéalis engineering services for power plants.
