Role Description The Industrial Drafter – Inventor will create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for our equipment equipment using Autodesk Inventor and related CAD tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting engineering specifications, preparing assembly and fabrication drawings, and ensuring that designs comply with industry standards and internal guidelines. The role involves collaborating closely with engineers, project managers,



and production teams to resolve design issues, incorporate feedback, and maintain accurate documentation.

The drafter will update and manage drawing files, bills of materials, and revision records, while supporting continuous improvement of drafting practices and design templates. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Montreal, QC.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in mechanical drafting, industrial design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and 3D/2D CAD or SolidWorks tools for mechanical and industrial drafting.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, engineering specifications, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tolerance and dimensioning practices.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to resolve design and documentation issues.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drafting tasks and revisions.
- Comfort working on-site in a technical setting and communicating in English and/or French as required.
