Use extensive mining fleet knowledge to coordinate maintenance priorities, equipment conditions, and emergency parts at Agnico Eagle’s Meliadine mine. Work 14 days on, then 14 days for transportation and rest. Reporting to the General Supervisor, Maintenance, this position supports mobile equipment performance within the Maintenance Department. You will assess downline equipment, prioritize impactful conditions, and coordinate responses with mine operations and supervisors. Solid leadership, communication, influence, and decision making are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities





Assess equipment downline status and prompt maintenance needs Prioritize equipment conditions affecting mining operations Track emergency parts and hotshot follow-ups Coordinate supervisors through daily meetings and handovers Submit formal support requests and document observations

Requirements:

Minimum ten years supervising or planning mobile maintenance Experience in mining or a similar environment Mechanical knowledge of Sandvik, McLean, CAT, and Volvo fleets Demonstrated planning and organizing skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment Bring mobile maintenance supervision, equipment assessment, and decisive prioritization to Agnico Eagle’s Meliadine Maintenance Department.
