Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator to support our growing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural drawings, preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, developing detailed cost estimates, and coordinating with suppliers and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive quotations.

This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Evaluate material quantities, labour requirements, fabrication costs, and installation expenses.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and confirm specifications.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, missing information,



and potential cost implications.
- Collaborate with sales, project management, and production teams to develop competitive quotations.
- Maintain accurate estimating records, revisions, and supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple estimating assignments and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of qualified estimating experience in construction, interior finishes, or related industries.
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong experience preparing quantity takeoffs, material calculations, and detailed cost estimates.
- Solid understanding of construction materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and project teams.
