The Senior Cook works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a current, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen in order to prepare daily nutritious meals while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in eating and prep areas.
Qualifications
Education
- Completed Grade 12.
Experience
- Minimum of Three (3) years’ related experience.
- Equivalent combination of education training and experience will also be considered.
Requirements
- Food Safe Level 1 and Level 2.
- Successful completion of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check
Job Information Hourly Wage Rate: $27.11 - $31.04.
- Plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation and stat time
Work Location: 535 Ellice St - Rock Bay Landing, 1002 Vancouver ST - Mount Edwards Court, 953 Balmoral Rd - The Lily, 584 Burnside Rd - Crosstown. Shift Time: 06:00 am to 6:0 pm- RBL, 10:00 am to 6:0 pm - Mount Edwards, The Lily and Crosstown.
Days of Work: Varied, per program needs.
Weekly Hours: Vary as per program needs.
Union: BCGEU.
