Manage residential facilities operations onsite for BGO across Burlington, Hamilton, and Kitchener, using preventive maintenance and technical troubleshooting expertise. Support protected, efficient properties and quality resident service. This Senior Maintenance Manager oversees building systems, equipment, common areas, and facilities across four residential properties. The position leads Maintenance Technicians, balances urgent repairs with preventive programs, and coordinates contractors and Property Management teams. It also supports compliance, emergency preparedness, environmental initiatives, and timely vacant-suite readiness. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain safe, functional building systems and common areas Plan inspections, testing, schedules,
and maintenance documentation Provide technical guidance and monitor staff performance Enforce occupational health and safety procedures and regulations Promote efficient energy and water building operations Requirements:
Residential building maintenance experience with multi-property supervision Working knowledge of applicable safety requirements and building regulations Ability to use maintenance management and work order platforms Experience diagnosing issues and making sound operational decisions Police clearance required for employment Bring facilities leadership, preventive maintenance expertise, and operational judgment to BGO’s residential properties throughout the Burlington, Hamilton, and Kitchener areas.
