TL Transport is seeking a professional, dependable Class 1 driver with minimum 2 years U.S. experience for long‑haul runs. This position is based out of Saint‑Laurent and offers consistent weekly miles, modern equipment, and a stable schedule running into the United States.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 equipment safely and professionally
- Complete long‑haul runs between Quebec and U.S. destinations
- Maintain accurate logbooks and cross‑border documentation
- Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch throughout the trip
- Represent VTL with professionalism at customer locations
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 licence
- U.S.‑capable (valid passport, RAPID card or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong safety record and clean abstract
- Experience with long‑haul or cross‑border work (asset)
- Reliability and ability to work 5 consecutive days on the road
Compensation & Benefits
- 2,800–3,300 miles per week
