AMC Insurance is hiring a full-time Auto Insurance Advisor who speaks Korean to join our two Coquitlam offices. Many of our Coquitlam clients are more comfortable discussing their insurance in Korean, and you'll be the person they ask for.
You'll handle ICBC Autoplan transactions and help clients understand their options in Korean or English, whichever they prefer. No licence yet? You can still apply and we'll help you earn your Level 1, but we'll look first at candidates who already hold it.
- Process ICBC Autoplan renewals, plates, transfers and policy changes in ICBC PolicyCenter
- Explain coverage options and give quotes in Korean and English
- Help clients with registry and licensing questions
- Keep client records accurate in our office systems
- Build lasting relationships with clients and the local Korean community
What you need
- Fluent spoken and written Korean and English
- Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence preferred (no licence is OK if you're ready to earn it with our support)
- Customer service experience
- Accurate, organized and friendly with clients
- Able to work in person at one of our Coquitlam offices
Nice to have
- ICBC Autoplan experience and working knowledge of ICBC PolicyCenter
- Level 2 licence, or working toward it
- Experience with ICBC batching, or home or tenant insurance
