Job Overview

As an Apprentice Baker, you’ll support daily bakery operations while developing practical skills in baking, food preparation, and kitchen work. You’ll help prepare products, maintain secure food-handling practices, and package items carefully for customers.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing ingredients, mixing and shaping dough, and baking products according to recipes and kitchen procedures.
- Support cake decorating and cooking tasks, following instructions and checking finished items for quality and presentation.
- Handle food safely, keep work areas and equipment clean, and follow food safety practices throughout each shift.
- Package baked goods neatly, assist customers courteously, and coordinate with colleagues to keep orders moving smoothly.





Qualifications

Required: Practical food preparation, baking, cooking, food handling, and food safety capabilities, with care in following instructions, maintaining cleanliness, and packaging products accurately. Preferred: Cake decorating skills and experience in a restaurant, kitchen, customer service, or the food industry. Pay: $17.60-$28.73 per hour
