Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Lead Developer with strong technical expertise in ETL development, data warehousing, and database technologies, along with a solid background in the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience, hands-on experience developing SSIS packages, and the ability to lead development teams and manage end-to-end data warehouse solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL processes and data warehouse systems while ensuring data quality, performance, and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes and data warehouse solutions.

- Develop, enhance, and optimize Microsoft SSIS packages for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Work with MS SSRS, MS SQL Server, Sybase, IBM Netezza, AWS Redshift, and AWS Glue.

- Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective data integration solutions.

- Manage and support end-to-end data warehouse systems, including data processing, validation, and troubleshooting.

- Lead a team of ETL developers, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, performance, and reliability across enterprise data platforms.

- Troubleshoot ETL failures, resolve production issues, and optimize database queries and data workflows.





- Support data integration initiatives across banking and financial services systems.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
1. ETL and Data Warehousing: Robust technical knowledge of ETL processes, data warehouse architecture, and end-to-end data integration.

2. Microsoft SSIS/SSRS: Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages and working with SSRS.

3. Database Technologies: Experience with MS SQL Server, Sybase, and IBM Netezza.

4. AWS Data Services: Working knowledge of AWS Redshift and AWS Glue for data processing and integration.

5. Banking Domain and Leadership: 10+ years of relevant experience, banking and financial services domain knowledge, team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management.

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AWS cloud services, including Spark, Redshift, and EMR.

- Functional knowledge of lending systems and lending business processes.

- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM), particularly customer demographic data.

- Knowledge of retail and commercial deposit systems, core banking processes, and the Canadian banking domain.

- Hands-on experience with AWS-based ETL solutions, including Kafka message processing, batch data ingestion, and business-layer data processing.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and banking or financial services.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS and enterprise database technologies.

- Experience with AWS data integration services.

- Proven ability to lead development teams and manage end-to-end data warehouse solutions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
