Oversee protected, welcoming programming for children ages 5–12 at Manoah YMCA Kids Club in Richmond, with active supervision and staff coaching. The permanent full-time schedule includes split weekday shifts.

This Team Lead position supports before-and-after-school services through child-centered programming, positive behaviour guidance, and conflict resolution. You will build relationships with families and community partners while maintaining inclusive spaces. Additional work includes nutritious snacks, clean program areas, individualized care plans, administrative duties, and budget tracking. The role reports to the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee indoor and outdoor programming for school-age children
- Provide active supervision and support positive behaviour




- Design or implement individualized care plans
- Build relationships with participants, families, and community partners
- Prepare nutritious snacks and maintain clean program spaces

Requirements:

- Passion for inclusive, welcoming environments where children belong
- Robust communication and positive relationship-building skills
- Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Initiative and strong problem-solving skills
- At least nineteen years of age
