Turn changing freight markets into profitable capacity solutions as a Carrier Capacity Specialist in Cambridge, Ontario. This is an in office office role.

You will evaluate spot opportunities across Canada, cross-border, and intra-United States transportation networks. The permanent position combines carrier procurement, strategic pricing, market analysis, and freight execution. Your decisions will balance customer competitiveness, available capacity, service expectations, margin discipline, and likelihood of award. You will build relationships with existing, preferred, strategic, and prospective carrier partners while sharing intelligence with Sales, Operations, Carrier Relations, and leadership. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prioritize opportunities by profitability, capacity,

- Negotiate carrier pricing while maintaining service expectations
- Capture recurring opportunities for potential longer-term business
- Share market insights and pricing knowledge with colleagues

Requirements:

- Three to five years of relevant transportation or logistics experience
- Proven success negotiating rates and managing carrier relationships
- Strong commercial mindset and exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize quickly and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
