Plan events and coordinate rentals for YWCA Toronto, using customer service, organization, and AV/IT troubleshooting skills in Toronto.

As Venue Rental Coordinator, you will manage the Association’s internal and external venue booking system. You will work with customers to assess space, technology, and catering needs, while responding to inquiries and providing facility tours. The position also supports budget planning, financial management, marketing materials, and revenue goals exceeding $200,000 annually. You will schedule relief coverage, supervise event support staff, and provide primary on-call service for evening and weekend events. This is a full-time contract assignment at 87 Elm Street, from November 9, 2026, to June 15, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate contracts, policies, forms, and rental documentation
- Respond to telephone, email, online,



and in-person inquiries
- Troubleshoot AV/IT requirements during customer events
- Collaborate on marketing material design and production
- Monitor budgets and schedule event support coverage

Requirements:

- Three to five years’ experience as an Event Planner or Rental Coordinator
- Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills
- Solid interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities
- Working knowledge of marketing, rental agreements, and records retention
- Physical ability to set up tables and chairs

Support successful venue rentals through event planning, customer communication, technical troubleshooting, and careful program administration.
