As a Metal roofer, you will install, repair, and maintain metal roofing systems on construction projects. You’ll work with a team to measure roof areas, prepare surfaces, fit panels, and complete weatherproofing details. The role involves outdoor work, secure handling of materials, and physical tasks, including lifting. Your impact: careful installation helps protect buildings from weather and supports reliable project completion.
Responsibilities
Review project plans and measurements, prepare roof surfaces, and organize materials and tools.
Cut, position, fasten, and seal metal roofing panels and components using hand tools.
Apply caulking and other sealing materials around joints, edges, and roof features.
Inspect completed work, address installation issues, and keep the work area orderly.
Skills
Required: Practical ability to use hand tools, apply caulking, and safely handle heavy lifting is key for completing roofing tasks accurately. Preferred: Construction experience, including carpentry or handyman work, can help you contribute effectively on site and coordinate smoothly with the roofing team.
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
