Overview

We are seeking a patient, attentive Dog Groomer to provide secure, high-quality grooming services and a positive experience for pets and their owners. The role involves caring for dogs with a range of coat types, sizes, and temperaments while maintaining a clean, organized, and secure grooming area.

Responsibilities
Consult with pet owners about grooming preferences, coat condition, and any special handling needs.
Bathe, dry, brush, and groom dogs according to requested styles and appropriate breed or coat-care practices.
Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other routine grooming tasks within the scope of the role.
Handle and position dogs carefully, using calm, humane techniques and appropriate safety equipment.
Monitor pets for signs of stress or discomfort and communicate concerns to the owner or appropriate team member.
Provide courteous customer service, answer routine questions, and help ensure a welcoming experience.
Clean and sanitize grooming tools,



tubs, tables, and work areas between appointments.
Safely lift and assist dogs as needed, including heavy lifting when handling larger pets.

Requirements
Experience in dog grooming or a related animal-care role is preferred; relevant training or a willingness to learn is welcome.
Demonstrated patience, compassion, and confidence working with dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
Solid communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or assist dogs, including heavy lifting.
Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to animal safety and cleanliness.
Ability to follow grooming procedures, sanitation practices, and workplace safety guidelines.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
