About Athens Authentic Gyros

Athens Authentic Gyros serves fresh, authentic Greek food in a friendly, quick-paced environment. We are hiring a dependable Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations at 254 Gregoire Drive in Fort McMurray.

Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning and organizing ingredients
Support cooks with basic cooking and meal assembly
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, counters and work areas
Store and label food correctly
Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

Requirements
Previous kitchen, restaurant or food-preparation experience is an asset but not required
Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Dependable,



organized and comfortable working as part of a team
Willing to learn food-handling and food-safety practices
Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen duties

Job details
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour
Work location: In person
