Prestige View Services (PVS) is a veteran-owned property care company based in Petawawa. Our snow division, PVS SnowLand, clears residential driveways and commercial properties across Petawawa and Pembroke. We are building our walk crew for the 2026/27 winter.
The Role
You will be part of our walkway and sidewalk crew, clearing the areas the tractors and plow trucks cannot reach: walkways, front steps, entrances, sidewalks, fire exits and around vehicles, using shovels and snowblowers.
What You Will Do
Shovel and snowblow walkways, steps, entrances, sidewalks and fire exits at residential and commercial properties
Apply salt or ice melt to walkways and entrances as directed
Finish each site clean and secure, with no snow left on steps or doorways
Check, fuel and clean snowblowers before and after each shift, and report any issues right away
Clock in and out and log completed stops in our job app
Work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays when it snows
What We Are Looking For
Able to do steady physical work outdoors in cold, wet and dark conditions
Reliable and reachable on call all season. When it snows, you show up.
Snowblower experience is an asset (we will train you)
Valid G2 or G licence and your own way to the shop is an asset, not required
Must be 16 or older
Pay and Schedule
$19 to $22 per hour based on experience and reliability
Seasonal: November to April, on call around snowfall. Hours vary with the weather, typically 12 to 40 hours per week during active storms
A great way in: strong performers can move up to equipment operator roles and get first call for year-round work with our lawn care and exterior cleaning divisions
Why PVS
Positive equipment, explicit routes and a daily game plan so you are never guessing
A real path to grow into operator and crew lead roles
A local team that backs you up
How to Apply
Apply through Indeed. Shortlisted applicants will receive a short questionnaire, followed by an interview at our shop in Petawawa.
