Duties
Assist with meal preparation and food plating to ensure timely and appealing service for residents
Serve meals with a friendly, customer-focused approach, ensuring each resident’s needs are met with kindness
Follow strict food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean kitchen and dining area
Help with cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
Support the dietary team in stocking supplies and organizing storage areas efficiently
Monitor residents during meal times, offering assistance as needed to promote independence and comfort
Contribute to maintaining a positive dining atmosphere by providing excellent customer service
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in senior living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is highly preferred
Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking, and sanitation procedures
Solid time management skills to handle meal schedules efficiently
Experience in food service or kitchen roles demonstrating reliability and attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or clients
Ability to follow safety protocols related to food safety and sanitation standards
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning tasks effectively
