Flat Out Tire and Mechanical in Gull Lake, Sk is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty/Commercial Transport Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and skilled work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Repair and replace brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine components
Perform oil changes, and other preventative maintenance
Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
Explain required repairs and recommendations to customers when needed
Maintain accurate service records
Keep the shop and work area clean and organized
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Experience
Previous experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or technician
Automotive Trade certification/Journey Person certification is an asset
Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment




Valid Class 5 driver’s license required, Class 1A an asset but not necessary
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
Able to lift 50+lbs

Pay: $27.58-$54.63 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
