The Site Coordinator supports organized, timely construction project delivery by coordinating site information, schedules, documentation, and communication. This role helps teams work from current plans and resolve coordination needs efficiently. This role is a combination of office work and in office visits; it will occasionally take you to northern communities in Manitoba to oversee project timelines and completion.
The right candidate for this position:
Has general construction experience and an understanding of each trade involved.
Can read blueprints and drawings.
Has experience organizing & leading a team.
Has experience managing multiple teams.
Has a valid driver’s license.
Can operate heavy equipment if required.
Is able to maintain safety standards on site.
Can minimize material waste.
Communicates effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Is able to work extended hours or be on-call.
Is able to work weekends and holidays if needed. (excludes Christmas & Recent Year’s)
Can lift a minimum of 100 lbs without overexertion.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
Must be able to work outdoors.
Is willing to stay & work in remote communities in Manitoba.
Can travel to the jobsite via vehicle or plane.
Is comfortable with computers.
Can track project schedules, change orders, deficiencies, and deadlines.
Can coordinate and communicate resolution of issues that arise during the construction process.
Will communicate effectively with the clients to mitigate any concerns.
Coordinate with teams to keep accurate inventory of materials.
Is a responsible team player.
Is customer-oriented.
Must have a complete set of hand tools.
Can read construction drawings and blueprints.
Is well organized and able to multitask.
Can make sound judgments under stress.
Has attention to detail.
Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
