Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Duties:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
Take and develop dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Qualifications:
Dental assisting education or previous dental office experience is an asset, but training can be provided.
Dental X-ray experience/certification is an asset.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience with ClearDent or similar dental software is an asset
Requirements:
Certified dental assistant preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
