Matrix HR is hiring a Certified Rigger for an exciting, long-term job in Halifax, NS. We offer additional overtime and wage parity for this position. The pay rate is $46/hr (Get paid weekly!)

Referral Bonus! We are pleased to offer a referral bonus of $200 for each individual referred to Matrix HR who is successfully hired for this project. To be eligible for the referral payment, the referred candidate must complete a minimum of one week of work on our payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving
Select gear such as cables, pull-eyes, and winches, according to load weights and sizes using chain fall and other equipment
Tilt, dip and turn suspending loads to maneuver over, under, or around obstacles.




Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material.

Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in Canada
A pre-employment physical is required
A background check completed by employer

Qualifications:
Experience in Rigging
Successfully completed Rigging Training Courses
Confined Space Ticket
Fall Protection Ticket
