Job Overview

The Registered Dental Hygienist provides preventive oral care and patient education in a dental office. The role combines clinical support, explicit communication, and accurate documentation to help patients understand their oral health and care options.

Duties
Provide dental hygiene care and explain preventive practices in language patients can understand.
Review relevant patient information, document care accurately, and communicate observations to the dental team.
Support a welcoming visit for patients of different ages, including pediatric patients, and assist with orthodontic care as appropriate.
Use Dentrix and medical terminology to support organized records and transparent coordination. Your impact: patients receive understandable guidance,



while colleagues have accurate information to support coordinated care.

Qualifications

Required: Practical dental hygiene capabilities, clear patient communication, accurate recordkeeping, and comfort using dental office technology and medical terminology support effective care. Preferred: Dental office experience, customer service strengths, Dentrix familiarity, and exposure to orthodontics, pediatrics, dental assisting, or bilingual communication are advantageous.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
