Overview

We are seeking a dependable Shop Helper to support daily operations in a machine shop. This hands-on role assists with material handling, basic assembly, shop organization, and keeping work areas clean and protected. It’s a valuable fit for someone interested in manufacturing who is comfortable learning practical skills and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Assist machinists and other shop team members with day-to-day tasks.
Move, stage, and organize materials, parts, and supplies throughout the shop.
Support basic assembly work and prepare components for production.
Use hand tools and power tools as directed and in accordance with safety procedures.
Help maintain clean, orderly work areas and return tools and materials to their proper locations.
Assist with receiving, storing, and moving inventory as needed.
Follow shop safety practices and promptly report equipment, material, or workplace concerns.
Take on other general shop support duties as assigned.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
