We are looking for a energetic individual to join our team as a Plant Maintenance Technician. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will assume the following responsibilities:
Job Duties:
Performing routine maintenance of the mechanical equipment and building
Troubleshoot breakdowns as they arise
Applying preventative measures to the building and equipment to reduce the risk of future problems
Performing routine maintenance on all plant equipment
Additional duties as required
Logging all repairs
Experience/Qualifications:
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical, refrigeration and compressed air systems
Experience in a food processing plant an asset
Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
