Job Summary

Reporting to the Shop Supervisors, the CNC Laser Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, operating and maintaining the CNC Laser.

Duties:
Program and set up the CNC laser cutting machine.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and similar software.
Read work orders and tag products as required.
Read and interpret drawings and/or blueprints.
Check material thickness for accuracy and load material.
Forklift experience.
Load programs, set machine parameters and proper fixtures to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Perform dimensional inspections.
Monitor cutting operation.
Use various inspecting techniques.
Assess cut pieces for quality and prepare product for delivery.
Clean up and maintain the immediate work area in a neat and orderly fashion.




Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards.

Schedule:

Afternoon Shift 2:30pm – 12:30 am Mon- Thurs & Fridays 2:30pm – 7:30pm

Additional pay:
Overtime pay after 44 hours at time and a half

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
