Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef
Follow recipes and prepare ingredients for menu items
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
Collaborate with kitchen team members to deliver high-quality dishes promptly
Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Adhere to proper food handling procedures
Support overall kitchen operations as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience working in a kitchen workplace, preferably in a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food industry best practices and standards
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment
Ability to work well under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
