Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items for easy access by kitchen staff
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination
Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by removing trash, sweeping floors, and maintaining organized workspaces




Collaborate with restaurant or hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service
Adhere to all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use

Requirements
Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Robust understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including food handling and food preparation support is a plus
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a quick-paced setting
Previous experience in hotel or food service industries enhances your fit for this role but is not mandatory

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
