Thermo King Reefer Technician Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container)
Complete pre trip inspections in accordance with customers' specific requirements
Provide estimates on repairs
Perform work in shop or independently from mobile service truck (road pay premiums apply)
Participate in manufacturers' training in order to remain up to date on recent Thermo King equipment
Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels (fleet manager, driver, dispatch)
Part of after-hours on call rotation for emergency service & breakdowns (pay premium applies)

Requirements:
Education: Experience in mechanical field or refrigeration
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Strong language skills, oral and written
Ability to prioritize customers' requests
Must be organized and able to multitask at all times
Valid driver's license
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
