Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Service Team Member for the closing shift. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience while supporting food preparation, order service, and end-of-shift cleaning. This position is a good fit for someone who works well in a quick-paced environment, communicates courteously, and takes pride in keeping service and work areas clean and organized.

Duties
Greet guests, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
Take orders and process transactions using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is helpful.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, provide change when needed, and follow cash handling procedures.
Assist with food preparation and serving, following recipes, portion guidelines, and secure food handling practices.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in dining, service, and kitchen areas.
Support closing tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and preparing the work area for the next shift.




Use upselling techniques appropriately by sharing relevant menu options and additions with guests.
Work with teammates to keep orders accurate and service moving efficiently.

Qualifications
Robust communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented approach.
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy periods and closing duties.
Comfort with basic math and math skills for order accuracy, transactions, and making change.
Familiarity with cashiering, cash handling, and POS systems; Micros POS experience is a plus.
Food service experience, restaurant experience, or experience in the food industry is preferred.
Kitchen experience, food preparation, or serving experience is helpful but not required.
Willingness to learn and consistently follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute positively as part of a team.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
