We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting chance to work on diverse roofing projects, contributing to the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and construction equipment
Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
Use carpentry skills to measure, cut, and fit roofing materials accurately according to project specifications
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal sheets safely and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of roofing plans
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs




Support the team with general handyman tasks related to construction projects as needed

Experience
Prior construction experience or familiarity with roofing projects is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Hands-on experience with hand tools, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely for extended periods
Solid attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality workmanship
Basic handyman experience or general construction background will be considered an asset

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week

Residential Roofing: 2 years (required)
Shingles & Sidings: 2 years (preferred)
