About the Position

Richmond Dental Clinic is looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Part time Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, enjoy working with patients, and contribute to a welcoming and professional dental office workplace.

Knowledge of Persian/Farsi is a strong asset, as is familiarity with Maxident dental practice management software. Previous dental office experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage front-desk operations.
Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments.
Confirm appointments, manage cancellations, and contact patients for recalls and follow-ups.
Verify dental insurance coverage and assist with insurance-related inquiries.
Process patient payments and maintain accurate patient records.
Communicate professionally with patients and coordinate with dentists, dental assistants, and other team members.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the reception area remains organized.

Qualifications




Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Knowledge of Persian/Farsi is a strong asset.
Experience with Maxident dental software is an asset.
Previous dental reception or dental office experience is preferred.
Familiarity with dental insurance, treatment estimates, and appointment scheduling is an advantage.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
Professional, friendly, punctual, and dependable.
Comfortable using computers, email, and office software.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy dental practice.
