Gourmet Chef is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations.

We are seeking dynamic individuals that can work with the Quality Assurance department, ensuring that the facility is in compliance with regulatory and food safety standards.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Perform the daily monitoring and verification tasks according to the food safety program, such as temperature, weight check and visual inspections and other quality inspections etc.
Conduct environmental testing and product checking
Prepare QA inspection reports with document the QA findings and appropriate corrective action
Report the foods safety and quality issues to the QA Manager and the floor operations Supervisors
Conduct employee training on GMP, HACCP or as required
Other duties as assigned
Morning shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Have a strong interest in food safety and quality assurance practices
Have relevant working experiences in food processing industry is an asset




Ability to work independently and cooperatively with all employees and contractors and to provide technical help when needed
Solid interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving, time management skills and detail oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
