Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to prepare and finish interior surfaces for a clean, durable, and qualified appearance. The role involves installing, repairing, and finishing drywall, as well as completing related preparation and touch-up work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently or as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities
Install, patch, and repair drywall on walls and ceilings.
Measure, cut, fit, and secure drywall panels to framing.
Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
Prepare surfaces for painting, including priming and related construction painting tasks.
Complete caulking and finishing work around joints, trim, and openings.
Read and follow blueprints, plans, and work instructions to meet project specifications.
Coordinate with carpenters and other trades to support productive project progress.




Inspect completed work, correct imperfections, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them in valuable working condition.

Qualifications
Previous drywall installation and finishing experience not require.
Construction experience, including carpentry or handyman experience, is an asset.
Familiarity with construction painting, caulking, and surface preparation is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and follow measurements and project specifications.
Comfortable using common construction tools and working safely on active job sites.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively with a team.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
