Responsibilities
Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops to ensure optimal growth and yield
Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and irrigation systems to keep operations running smoothly
Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like pruning, repairing fences, or installing recent infrastructure
Conduct regular inspections of fields, equipment, and irrigation systems to identify issues early
Assist with soil preparation, pest control, and crop rotation activities to promote healthy plant growth
Lift heavy loads of supplies or harvested produce safely while adhering to safety guidelines

Skills




No skills or experience necessary, willing to train
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
Experience with irrigation systems to manage water distribution effectively
Knowledge of horticulture principles to support plant health and crop production
Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and responsibly
Familiarity with basic math for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks required during planting, harvesting, or maintenance activities
Strong attention to safety protocols when working with heavy equipment or chemicals

Pay: $17.95 per hour
