Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those in assisted living or home care settings. This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, promoting independence, transporting youths to appointment, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others and possess relevant caregiving experience. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or working with individuals with special needs is highly valued. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as cooking, and mobility support
Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Support clients with activities that foster independence and social engagement




Maintain a clean and secure environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks
Document care provided accurately and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure client safety at all times
Support clients during outings or appointments as needed

Requirements
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, senior care, or home care is preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care is a plus
Knowledge of medication administration protocols is desirable
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a supportive workplace
A valid driver’s license is mandatory
Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all safety guidelines and policies

Pay: $17.50 per hour
