As a Cook I with Vancouver Island Health Authority, you will work under the Manager or designate in kitchen and patient areas. The position prepares diverse food items through roasting, frying, grilling, steaming, poaching, boiling, and baking. You will portion meals, operate dishwashing equipment, perform cleaning duties, and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
