Shape CBC London’s Afternoon Drive with radio production expertise, editorial leadership, and a robust connection to southwestern Ontario communities.

As Producer, you will help a high-performing local newsroom tell important stories across southwestern Ontario. Reporting to the executive producer, you will work on-site with reporters, hosts, and producer teams. Your work will balance live daily radio programming, audience needs, community perspectives, and coverage across CBC platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program and produce live daily Afternoon Drive content
- Coordinate news coverage, assignments, resources, and editorial oversight
- Ensure coverage reflects southwestern Ontario audiences and perspectives




- Participate in special projects and coverage planning
- Build relationships with contacts and community members

Requirements:

- Experience producing daily radio current affairs programming
- Strong connection to southwestern Ontario communities
- Understanding of diverse perspectives and lived experiences
- Ability to motivate, coach, and lead journalism teams
- English reading, speaking, and writing skills
