Alberta Health Services is seeking an Associate Physician for General Surgery at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. You will contribute to admissions, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, patient monitoring, and hospitalization planning. The role includes collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team, participation in pre-admission clinics, and assistance during requested procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and respond to patients’ changing medical needs
- Discuss management plans in the Pre-admission Clinic
- Document procedures performed on patients
- Maintain, calibrate,



and monitor surgical equipment when required
- Use critical thinking while collaborating with team members

Requirements:

- Current Clinical Assistant Limited Practice Register license
- Current ACSAP registration or active application process
- Eligibility for ACSAP participation with initiated application
- Experience managing critically ill adults preferred
- Experience in the Canadian health system preferred
