Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a protected and pleasant workplace for all occupants. Responsibilities
Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
Utilize power tools and hand tools for cleaning tasks as required.
Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during the cleaning process.
Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants professionally.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered during shifts.
Qualifications
Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in cleaning and maintenance is a plus.
Solid time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within facilities.
