Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely meal delivery
Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
Adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
Skills
Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens, especially in a line cook role
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced setting
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
Basic serving skills for interacting with front-of-house staff when needed
Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices for kitchen operations
