Commercial Fixed Wing Pilots use aircraft systems expertise and transparent communication while working outdoors at physical locations. This on site position includes aerial surveys, crop spraying, and forest firefighting.

The position requires a Commercial Pilot Licence for fixed wing aircraft and three to less than five years of experience. Pilots fly fixed wing aircraft or helicopters, monitor systems, coordinate with crews and air traffic control, and respond to emergencies. English is required, alongside specialized environmental knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
Fly fixed wing aircraft or helicopters during assigned operations
Monitor engines and aircraft systems throughout flights
Coordinate activities with ground crews and air traffic control




Conduct in flight tests and monitor aircraft equipment
Report emergencies and malfunctions to dispatchers and forecasters

Requirements:
Commercial Pilot Licence for fixed wing aircraft
Three to less than five years of experience
Other trades certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience
Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively
