Use SAGD operations experience and Power Engineering certification at Cenovus’s Spruce Lake facilities. The schedule includes 12-hour days and nights.

This Plant Operator works across the Central and North Thermal facilities within Cenovus Upstream Thermal Operations. You will operate steam generation, oil processing, well equipment, or control panels where applicable. The position also supports maintenance, records accurate operating data, and follows HS&E; requirements while pursuing production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate facility systems according to company operating guidelines
- Troubleshoot equipment and optimize area performance
- Monitor conditions through required sampling and testing




- Support operations-led maintenance and inform site personnel
- Complete operational documentation and required reports accurately

Requirements:

- Minimum 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate required
- 2nd Class certification or progress is preferred
- Five years’ oil and gas industry experience
- Steam generation or oil processing experience considered an asset
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
