Humber River Health seeks a Registered Nurse for 13 West Oncology, supporting cancer treatment with patient-centred care at the Wilson Site. Rotating shifts apply.

This temporary part time nursing position serves patients throughout their cancer experience, including treatment, follow-up, palliative, and supportive care. You will administer medications, fluids, and chemotherapy, with hospital-provided chemotherapy teaching and certification. The work includes care planning, computerized documentation, resource leadership, and collaboration with patients, families, visitors, and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate oncology care with multidisciplinary team members
- Administer medications, fluids, and cancer treatments




- Use computerized systems to document patient care
- Provide resource or team leader responsibilities
- Mentor new nursing staff and precept nursing students

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Registered Nurse registration
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Two years of recent oncology experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good patient assessment skills and required attendance record
