Lead volunteer coverage for The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign in Edmonton, managing locations, schedules, and donation security.

This daytime Area Team Lead position oversees several Christmas Kettle sites within a designated geographical zone. You will orient volunteers, support recruitment, coordinate shift coverage, and visit malls, grocery stores, and retail outlets. The seasonal fixed-term assignment runs through December 24, 2025, with 40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Orient volunteers on proper Kettle handling and duties
- Support recruitment of recent Christmas Kettle volunteers
- Remain at Kettles until relieved from assigned shifts
- Submit accurate timesheets and mileage reports weekly
- Provide Kettles to locations before volunteer arrivals

Requirements:

- Some high school coursework; completion is an asset
- One year of related experience or customer service
- Money handling experience is an asset
- Flexibility with changing priorities and daily timelines
- Confidential handling of donor and volunteer information
