Care for elderly or disabled clients as a Health Care Aide with Southern Health-Santé Sud, using cultural respect and calm communication. Regional travel may be required.

The position supports protected, accessible, people-centered health care across diverse communities. One to two years of experience caring for elderly or disabled clients is preferred, alongside a recognized Health Care Aide Certificate. Candidates must understand privacy, workplace safety, and violence prevention processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interact respectfully with people from diverse communities

- Apply confidentiality requirements to client information
- Manage assigned workload in an organized manner
- Work evenings, nights, and weekends when required

Requirements:

- Preferred elderly or disabled client care experience
- Knowledge of PHIA and FIPPA privacy requirements

- Knowledge of VPP and SCHIPP processes
- Willingness to work with aggressive or agitated individuals
