Apply Early Childhood Education knowledge while supporting children’s daily learning, care, and safety at Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre. Work directly within programs.

This worker assists Early Childhood Educators and CDC staff with daily planning, classroom preparation, and developmentally appropriate experiences. The position supports children’s physical, social, language, creative, emotional, and intellectual growth. It also requires communication with parents and staff, confidentiality, and organized program support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Early Childhood Educators with daily classroom planning
- Set up and clean up classroom environments
- Support children’s eating, toileting, diapering, and mobility needs




- Maintain health records and administer first aid or medication
- Communicate positively with parents and staff

Requirements:

- Early Childhood Education degree or diploma, completed or in progress
- Recent experience working with children
- Knowledge of group processes and facilitation techniques
- Well-developed oral, written, and communication skills
- Ability to perform duties physically and emotionally

Use Early Childhood Education preparation, classroom organization, and child-care skills to support secure, responsive CDC programs.
