Tridon Communications is seeking a technician for communications equipment across wide-ranging environments. This multi-skilled position combines tower work with networking, structured cabling, and radio systems expertise. Technicians install antennas, brackets, cabling, and connectors at height.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair communications equipment
- Install structured cabling, including fiber optic systems
- Use multimeters, watt meters, antenna diagnostics tools, and DTF
- Interpret telecommunication drawings and engineering documentation
- Perform tower climbing, rigging, and fall protection procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of tower or telecommunications work
- Knowledge of telecom networking requirements and standards
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
